Training Courses
NY State 18 hour Class
NY State 18 hour Class
STT 18-hour course meets the NY State requirements to qualify for a concealed carry pistol permit in Steuben, Chemung, Yates, Wayne, and Monroe counties.
CCW Basic Course
NY State 18 hour Class
CCW Basic Class will be an all day class with over half of the class being Live fire. Students will need a concealed carry firearm in a defensive caliber 9mm or greater a quality holster, 3 spare mags and 500 rounds of ammunition
Red Dot Class
Red Dot Class will be an all day class with over half of the class being Live fire. Students will need a a firearm with a red dot and 500 rounds of ammunition
Basic Shotgun and Rifle
Students will be using STT firearms and ammunition during these courses

Jon is a certified NRA Instructor for Basic Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, CCW and Basic Metallic Cartridge Reloading. He as be
involved with firearms instruction with Scouts BSA and the Five Rivers Council and
Great Falls Council since 2013. He is also a Coach for the Elmira High School Express
Trap Shooting Team since 2018. In 2016 he started shooting competitively with Glock
Shooting Sports Foundation.

Greg has been shooting pistol competition since 2006. Shooting the following, International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) Ranking Master, Glock Sport Shooting Foundation (GSSF), Ranking Master. Greg also participates in Steel Challenge and USPSA, Sporting Clays, NRA Service Rifle, CMP Garand Vintage matches. Greg has been the Pistol Match Director at Pine City Sportsman's Club since 2015 and Vice-president. Greg served 5 years active duty USMC (90~95) and has the Rifle Expert classification. NRA certified in Rifle, Pistol, Shotgun and CCW.

Scott is a Navy veteran who served 8 years active duty. He is an NRA certified instructor in several disciplines including, Basic Pistol, CCW, Basic Rifle, Basic Shotgun, Refuse to be a Victim and a Range Safety Officer. Scott competes in GSSF matches both indoor and outdoor competitions.

He also became a member of Painted Post Field and Stream in 1998 where he began to shoot Indoor Bullseye matches. His first pistol was a Smith & Wesson Target 22A in 22lr. Currently Bill competes in the Glock Sports Shooting Foundation (GSSF) matches as a Master shooter. He competes in their Indoor matches at National Range and Armory in Williamsport, PA and their Outdoor matches all along the East Coast.
He not only has a passion for pistols, but also likes building and shooting rifles. He also enjoys shooting Sporting Clays and Skeet. .
